Holographic Optical Elements (HOEs) for Gun Sight
A holographic Gun sight or diffraction sight is a non-magnifying gun sight that allows the user to look through a glass optical window and see a reticle image superimposed at a distance on the field of view. Laser transmission hologram of a reticle image is recorded in three-dimensional space by using very high resolution silver halide holographic plates. This image is part of the optical viewing window of the gun sight. The recorded collimator transmission hologram is illuminated by a diode laser to produce a collimated beam for viewing reticle image in the gun sight.
